New Shows (and almost new album)

I'm playing a couple shows in the next couple of months with friends Irwin Menken and Jay Deegan and a host of really talented people - Jody Stephens from Big Star, Nels Cline from Wilco, and Stephen Goulding of The Mekons to name a few. Check out the Calendar page for details.

In other super-exciting news, I've just about finished mixing my new album, officially titled Inside the Glass. Next steps are mastering the music and designing a package. Then manufacturing, setting it up at online stores...and releasing it!! Scary - but maybe that's just because it's Halloween...

Education Through Music Benefit Show

Join me on Tuesday, September 29 as I take part in a new music series in Richmond Hill, Queens at the Truth For Life Center to benefit Education Through Music, a charity that places music teachers in schools that have eliminated or can't afford music programs in NYC. First Gigs of 2014

There's a new year coming and I've got another band gig in the works.  I'll be at the Blooming Seed Coffee House in Mahopac, NY in January, and doing another fantastic Joni Mitchell's Blue show in February at Circle of Friends in Franklin, MA.  Even got a couple of new-ish songs.  Looking forward to a new year full of music!

Gig details are on the Calendar page.

1st Band Gig in a Year

That's right.  It's been almost year since the band and I got together.  But the wait has come to an end.  We'll be playing at 78 Below on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on Saturday April 27 from 8 - 10pm.  Two sets, delicious food menu, and a chance to hang out.  Sounds good to me.

WFUV Best of 2012 Staff Picks

Woo hoo! Our album, "Joni Mitchell's Blue: A 40th Anniversary Celebration" had made WFUV's John Platt's Best of 2012 list! He says "Some of New York's finest female folkies, collectively known as Chicks with Dip, do justice to Joni's deceptively tricky classics." Thanks to John & WFUV for the support!
